Coronavirus Policy

Dear Johnson Family Medical Patients:

This is Katherine Johnson from Johnson Family Medical. This message is to update you on Johnson Family Medical’s COVID-19 Protocol.

Due to the ever-changing information available to us at this time we will not be able to see patients with a cough/fever/respiratory complaints, patients who have traveled in the last 21 days, or patients who have been exposed to a COVID19 patient.

If you meet any of the above criteria, please call the office to reschedule your appointment. If you are presently ill, please call the office so that we can have the provider do a phone assessment and plan-of-care. If you are in respiratory distress, please go to the nearest ER.

When you arrive at the clinic, you will be asked to complete forms or wait in your car until we are ready to room you. This allows for you to have less time in the waiting room and less exposure to others. We will call you so you may enter and be roomed quickly for your appointment.

If you are mildly ill and seeking testing, please contact your local State Health Department (Collin County 972-548-5500; Dallas County 214-819-2000, City of Dallas 214-670-7482) in order to find out information on testing. We do NOT have access to testing kits.

We will not be scheduling Aesthetic appointments for two weeks, as these are non-essential appointments.

We will waive our cancellation fee so long as contact is made, no-shows will still require a no-show fee.

Our goal is to continue to provide the best patient care possible, while also reducing patient and staff exposure.
